A moveable compass rose -- locked in alignment with the magnetic compass rose of the ChartKit page -- gives you instant course headings whenever needed.

Plot a course to a given point by locking the rule at a given bearing. By moving the rule so that the point is on an edge, you quickly determine the correct line of position on a chart for that bearing.

The new portable Yeoman Sport is specially made for our paper ChartKits. Yeoman reference points are printed on all ChartKits, and the Yeoman sport comes pre-loaded with these points. Just select region and chart number, then...click, click, click... and you're navigating.

Interfaced with your GPS, Loran or SatNav receiver, Yeoman takes over every plotting task. It will guide you to your current position on a chart and display course and distance to any other point on the chart.

Yeoman works without positioning data as well. Because it stores waypoints automatically, you can plot an entire cruise without having to calculate lat/lon. Yeoman also displays course and distance calculations by itself. And by inputing vessel speed and current set and drift into Yeoman, you get constantly updated dead reckoning positions.

Lightweight, yet rugged, Yeoman Sport is made of a textured shock-absorbing fabric. Use the Sport anywhere -- at your nav station, in the cockpit, or, with an extending cable, on deck, flybridge... and in your lap.
